the clothes
Hamburgers were supposed to smell like meat. They were supposed to smell like Hamburgers, but as Erika Lasser bent down to smell her Big Mac, she found it smelled like cheese and fries. Now, Erika hates fries, the thought of how they make them make her queasy, and just seeing them makes her a little sick to the stomach. So you could guess she wasn't so happy when her hamburger, which she had wanted so badly to enjoy smelled like something.. well, she hated! Crinkling her nose, Erika slowly stood back up with her tray, she daintily made her way over to the counter, putting on her best smile and innocent look. Hoping that maybe they would understand and give her a new one. Her chance wasn't very well though, for the server today was Anna Marie, a hundred year old women who was so grouchy it made the bitches seem sweet! Anna Marie would give you nothing unless you had a good enough reason!
"Um, Anna Marie?" Erika asked sweetly when it was her time to go up. Anna Marie, obviously knowing Erika, for she comes here at least four times a week, frowned deeply. "What is it this time, Lasser?" she asked, not even bothering to put a smile on her face. "Well," Erika paused, wondering how she was going to explain her situation, "My burger smells like fries, and I really don't like the smell of fries, if their anyway I can get another one?" Erika smiles, hoping for the best, but she knew that the best wasn't going to come. "No." Anna Marie said, before turning her back on Erika and waving to the next customer. Erika, holding back her obvious grudge just smiled, nodded, and went back to her table. Their was no use fighting, for she would just get banned for life, and this being the only fast food place, that could not happen.
After about five minutes of playing with the food, and putting perfume on herself, hoping to block out the smell of the fries, Erika started to get, bored. Usually she would bring a friend here, or even something a book, or homework, just so she could relax. McDonald's was her time to have to herself, but today, she wanted to be with someone. Erika had been in her room all night studying until she finally fell asleep. She hadn't talked to anyone in so long she felt like she was going to explode from the lack of social interactions. Gritting her teeth, Erika dared herself to go ask again, but as soon as she stood up, Anna Marie shook her head and pointed to Erika's seat. Smiling smugly, Erika sat back down, all the while saying to herself, Stupid french fry smelling hamburger.

outfitOllie had heard about McDonalds new premium coffees and iced coffees that they had come out with. It was cold outside and it was probably extremely stupid of him to go and have a craving for something cold but it wasn't breakfast anymore and so he couldn't just order a coffee. At least this way he could order something and maybe the store would be hot enough to where he could enjoy it. Walking in he unwrapped the scarf that was loosely bundled around his neck, letting either end drape down as it now hung off his grey jacket. As always he was dressed as if he were going out for a nice evening, never really knowing the meaning of casual dress. As this was casual for him, maybe not for other people but for him it was casual. He even had the white Converse shoes to prove it. Ollie stepped up in line as a girl walked up and started to complain of a foul smelling hamburger. Was she serious about her complaint as this was McDonalds after all you couldn't expect there to be any decent food here and thus he stayed away from places like this all together. They were disgusting and there was nothing on the menu that was remotely healthy to eat, hence why he was only planning to have an iced coffee here. Though when he saw the girl get defeated by the worker he couldn't help but feel for her, even if her request was a bit unreasonable. Really now a hamburger smelling like fries ridiculous. It was now his turn to order as he got a large iced coffee with no special flavorings and a Big Mac. Or so that is what he thought he saw the girl eating but he couldn't really be sure as he was not familiar with the McDonalds crap they passed off as food. He waited for a few minutes off to the side as he watched his drink being made. It was a simple concoction of milk, ice and, coffee exactly the way Starbucks would have made it but with half the price and a way bigger cup. So far McDonalds was doing something right, not much but it was something. He was giving his order as he decided to forgo the tray there was no need when he only had two items. "Here you go…" He said as he put the fresh sandwich down in front of her before sitting down at the same table she was. So she didn't ask him or may not even want him there but he wanted to find out from someone that liked McDonalds what the appeal was. She seemed to like the place. Though he was becoming a fan with the iced coffee.

the clothes
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Erika sat at her both, staring at her watch, hoping that Anna Marie would take a break soon. As soon as the women was on her break, Erika would have the opportunity to get the new Big Mac. Every other person who worked their would gladly offer her another sandwich, and then she would be able to get on with her happy life and go skipping out of here, her stomach full, and tell everyone what a wonderful experience she had at McDonald. The only catch was, Anna Marie did not seem like she was getting ready to go anywhere very soon. To Erika it looked like she had already taken her bathroom break, and she was ready for a long night of serving people and trying to ruin their lives.
