Goals: Nick wants to be in movies and he wants to get a chance to swim professionally.
Fears: He is afraid of not making it, and of letting people in.
{Imagine Knowing Me}
Personality:
At first, Nick is a very inward sort of person. He doesn't trust people quickly, especially rich people. He has a tendancy to look as if he's brooding most of the time when he's uncomfortable or around unfamiliar people. When you do get to know him, Nick is a very warm and outgoing guy. He loves to laugh and make you laugh. Surprisngly, Nick is very romantic and know how to treat a woman. He was taught never to harm a lady, and so he doesn't.
Nick may be quiet in real life, but once he gets on stage, all of that dissapears, and he can be as crazy as anything. Acting has always been something he loves, and so he has chosen to pursue it as a career. Nick also loves to work out. This includes running and swimming. Both give him a chance to think while still working his muscles. Not that he's the type to be all "Look how sexy I am!" he just likes to stay in shape. Nick is also the type to be protective of his friends. He's not afraid of confrontation, and so he will pick a fight with someone who hurt a person he loves. He's a good shoulder to cry on, especially if he's in the right mood. It's just part of his nature to be there for his friends, because he has so few.
Any Secrets?: When he was is middle school, Nick went through a Goth period that quite embarasses him now. He's made his sister swear to never tell a soul about it.
Physical Appearance: Nick is rather tall, standing at 6'1". He's thin, but not lanky, having worked hard for his muscles. Yes, he does have a six-pack. But, he doesn't go around bragging about it. His blue eyes are often either filled with laughter, or a blank look. He has dirty blonde hair which he usually wears short and unkempt.
Nick has never been concerned with the "in style". He usually just wears what's comfortable. It's hard to find him dressing up, since he's always had bad experiences when doing so. Generally, he'll go with jeans and a tee shirt. Sometimes he'll work the layered look, but only when he's in the mood for it. He can't really tell when something is designer or not, and it's not something he's ever fretted over much.
Biography:
Nicholas Faulkner was born in Los Angeles, California. His father was a big-time producer, and his mother was the owner of a very succesful dating service. Both of them were what Nick calls "typical rich people". They knew they had a lot of money and loved it. They felt as if having money made them superior to the less fortunate. Nick never believed this. He always thought it was stupid and naive. When he was younger, his parents were barely around. Both were extremely busy with work and so he was left with a nanny most of the time. He tended to be quite a trouble-maker, and so they never seemed to stick around long.
When his younger sister was born, Nick was five, he realized he didn't need to act like a complete jerk, and decided it was better to be a good role model for her. The two grew close over the years, and Nick became quite protective. No one was allowed to mess with her except him. Due to the fact that she was around Nick more than the rest of their family, she adapted his views on life and was disgusted by the way their parents thought of themselves.
When Nick was in his Freshman year of highschool, his parents decided to move to Monterey, making him furious. It had been hard enough making friends in LA where he had lived his whole life. When he started attending the school, he went unnoticed for quite some time. He joined the school track team, but most of the other people on the team were the type of person he hated, and so, he didn't make friends with them. Marco Evans was one of the few people that he could actually stand, and they became fast friends. He met Adrianna through Marco, and at first he thought of her as just a friend. Over time, though, he started to have feelings for that quiet girl. She was just so different than most rich snobby girls, that he couldn't help it.
When high school was drawing to a close, the decision for college was a hard one. His parents told him that they wanted him to attend Harvard. At first, he was dead set against any Ivy League school, but when he got word of Hastings, it got his attention. First off, it was far away from his parents, and it actually had a nice acting program. The fact that it was an Ivy league school was good enough for his parents, and when he got his acception letter, he couldn't have been happier. It was actually a complete shock when his best friend told him that he was also attending Hastings.
So far, he's liked this school a lot. Sure, it's full of rich people, but it's in a quiet town, and Nick loves the atmosphere.
