September 16th Aproximately 10:15pm [/u][/center] The crazy bowling, the loud music, the partying. Yeah, this was the life for Craig. His light blue button up shirt hung loosly around him. His white tee shirt was bound to glow in the blacklight. He skid across the floor in his newly rented bowling shoes. Of course he wasn't a bowler, but he enjoyed doing it for fun. Especially when it was cosmic bowling. Him and Crissy would screw around the guys and just let loose. Like they used to do when they were in Cali... Ah, those were the days.
His bright blue ball matched his shirt perfectly. He knew it was Crissy's doing. She had to match everything. It ocationally drove him nuts, but what he could do about it? They were best friends, they did everything together for the most part. They even shared pants. Which he did indeed find odd but hilarious all the same. Of course they didn't fit her exactly, she much needed a belt when wearing his pants, but that didn't bother him none. They had the same sence of style and that made shopping easier for the both of them.
Craig sat there at the bowling alley, his toe bouncing to the beat of the soft music playing. Five minutes and all hell would break loose. Party hardy as he always put it. He glanced over at Crissy, she was chillin with the guys who made pizza. Nothing all too new to him. He glanced around, hoping to see a familar face to bowl with. Maybe someone to even party with later. Either of the two would equally please him. He glanced at his watch, just in time to see the second hand hit the 12 and to hear the music jump three times as louder as it was. He grinned mischieviously and threw his ball down the alley. He turned and busted a move goofily. He took a drink of his beer and sat down at the table, watching everyone else take their turn. His bobbed his head giddily to music, quite enjoying himself.

Sofia walked into the bowling alley with a pair of shoes in hand and a bag over her shoulder. She loved coming here late at night to unwind. Bowling was a sport to some people, but for Sofia Davis it was more a stress release. There was something sickly satisfying with hitting silly pins down with loud crashes at high velocities. The other nice thing was most of the student body did not come to this bowling alley since it was run down and on the "bad side of town." Sofia loved the cheap games and even cheaper draft, coupled with the fact that if you knew the people in the kitchen they did not card you.
Waving at the girl working the front desk, the lithe athlete walked over to her normal lane. Lane 23 was towards the wall by the kitchens. 23 had been Sofia's number for every single sport she ever played, so why would stress relief bowling be any different? Bowling alleys were sparse in NYC, so this was heaven.
Sitting on the plastic tacky colored bench Sofia slipped off her tennis shoes and started to tie the awful colored bowling shoes. They were her gag Christmas gift from Aiden this past year, so they were colored in the Celtics colors with small basketballs on the toes. Her bowling ball was shaded like a volleyball, the other part of this hilarious gift. Humming with the wonderfully loud music Sofia sat back and smiled as one of the kitchen guys walked over and slid her a glass and a pitcher of cool draft. She made small talk for a moment and sipped on the cold brew before racking her ball and setting her scoreboard.
Calm minutes passed and Sofia found herself standing before the lane for the first throw of the night. She aimed, took a step, and swung her arm back. She noticed the person to her right was moving at the same time, so in classic bowlers' fashion she stopped and waited for the man to throw. When he turned around she realized she recognized the man in the lane next to her. He was Aiden's neighbor practically as he and his twin sister lived in the apartment across the walk-way. They ran into each other a lot when Sofia stayed over there.
She waited until he was back at the rack waiting for his ball to appear to say anything. "Hey Craig. I didn't know you came here."

Foot tapping, Craig stood at the ball rack awaiting his ball's arrival. His tight white tee did in fact glow in the black light. He found it quite funny and a bit entertaining. Watching the large blue spinning orb come at him, he heard a familiar voice. A voice that he was quite fond of. He spun around on his heel to face her. He rubbed the back of his neck with his right hand casually, a grin protruding across his. "Hey Sofia! Yeah, I come here often.. Crissy has it in with the pizza guys, meaning free beer and pizza." He chuckled.
He glanced at his blue ball then back up at Sofia. Oh how he wished that Crissy would just get over herself and let him date who he wanted. He never had a problem with the guys she dated.. Then again, she had never had a boyfriend. Therefore, nothing for him to worry about. His eyes traveled along the lanes and back toward Sofia. He grinned boyishly and asked, "So what are you doing here? I didn't think you were the type to go out and party." He laughed softly. "You wanna join a game with us? I think Crissy and the pizza guys are going to play after they close everything down. Free beer still, though." He added jokingly.

Sofia's smile was wide as she let a small chuckled escape, "I am glad to know I am not the only one with an in here. I was starting to find it kind of pathetic how I can come and they all know my order and lane prefrence." Her toe squeaked against the waxed wooden floor as she twisted it slightly. Craig had intense eyes and a smile that made her a bit a flutter every time she saw him.
As much as Sofia liked seeing and talking to Craig, his twin sister made her a little uncomfortable. Sometimes it seemed like Crissy had something against Sofia. This was something Sofia didn't completely understand since the only time she had ever talked to the girl was in a freshman English class. They were paired for a project and everything seemed to go well until Arianna joined thier group. Sad how that worked out.
"Oh, I love this place. I come here a couple times a week. It is stress relief and very relaxing. I love the atmosphere and how quiet it is." She looked around and sighed comfortably at the sparse sprinkling of people at the lanes and food counters. "I don't party much. Mainly when Aiden needs a date or something." Craig's offer made her shift her weight from foot to foot in thought. "You know, since our lanes are side by side, we can do teams. If Crissy would be up for that."

Craig smirked sweetly, "That would be quite pathetic." He laughed. He grabbed his ball rag from the rack and threw it over his shoulder. He crossed his arms over his chest and grinned boyishly. Being who he was, he could have fun and be silly around anyone. And that included his crushes. Why act different around them when they are just going to find out who you are in the end?
"Quiet?" He laughed, "I can see where you get the stress relief part though." He always pictured the pins as someone who pissed him off and it usually led to him either getting a strike or a spare. "Aiden, eh? He's pretty cool. You should come to one of Rissy's and my's parties. They are pretty kickin." He glanced towards the the pizza counter. Crissy was still talking to them, but everything looked shut down. He grinned and looked back to Sofia, "Yeah, she's always up for a little competition. You wanna be on a team with me?" He had the cutest look on his face. It was soft and playful, almost hopeful looking.

"I don't silence quiet. It is the kind of quiet that is nice, the undertone quiet where you almost cannot hear yourself think or speak, so it is like a bubble." Her cheeks flushed lightly at her explaination. She knew it sounded crazy and unreal, but that is what this bowling alley was to her. A place of solitude and safety.
Her eyes carefully studied him at his offer of parties, "I don't know. I have heard, literally, how 'kickin'' they are. I am not sure if that is my style." The tilt of her head and playful gleam in her eyes showed that she was not criticizing. "Aiden and I have sat through many loud nights trying to figure out what was going on over there."
Her smile was happy and bright at his acceptance of her team idea, "Of course I want to be on your team. We are planning on beating Crissy and her pizza-friends, right?"

Craig watched her intently. He knew exactly what she was talking about. He didn't know how he knew, but he just did. The bowling alley was his place to go and relax. He could chill, drink beer, and plan parties. He loved it! Craig smiled as he saw her blush. It made the butterflies in his stomach flutter a bit. He didn't think he had butterflies, but he knew he did now. He nodded his head showing that he understood.
He laughed happily, "My parties aren't that bad. We just dance and chill out... Play loud music... play some pool, the usual. You and.. uhm.. Aiden, should come sometime. You're welcome anytime you would like." He grinned boyishly.
Craig smirked, "Psh, Are you kidding me? Of course we'll beat them. Let this be our little secret... Crissy can't bowl for her life." He winked cutely and grabbed his ball. Walking over to her lane, he sat his ball down in the rack and leaned against the back counter. He looked over towards the pizza place and grinned, seeing Crissy and and her 'buds' walking towards them.

"I promise I will come to your next party." Sofia made the symbol of boy scouts in order to show her honor and promise. "I don't know if I will bring Aiden though. He is pretty protective of me. Almost like creepy older brother protective." This time her shoulders moved in a shrug, light and airy. "I would almost need a trainer, or assistant. I am not a huge partier, I am not sure I would be a lot of fun."
The comptetitive spirit that made Sofia Davis famous was starting to rise up inside her. "What about the other guys? I know some of those pizza boys spend nights playing free frames down here. Crissy may be saved by her kinghts of flirting." Arms swung lightly at her sides in easy motions. "Besides, how good are you Craig?" The tone she used was teasing and borderline flirt.

Craig raised his eyebrows ever so slightly. He chuckled softly and did the same boyscout sign right back to her. "And I promise that partying really isn't that hard. You just have to let loose and have fun. Aiden... well.... We just won't let him know you're going to be there. Protective older brothers suck." He laughed as he realized he had just dissed himself. He wasn't a horrably over protective brother, but he would do anything to keep Crissy save. He promised his father he would, so he's going to keep to it.
Craig streched his right arm over his chest, then his left. "Hell yeah, I'm the best bowler you'll ever come by. Those pizza boys ain't got nothing on me." He laughed sarcastically. "Actually, I'm an alright bowler... I'm not a pro, if that's what you're looking for." She grinned crookedly and turned toward Crissy. He gave her the thumbs up and she grinned maliciously. He turned back toward Sofia and nodded his head slowly as he grinned. "Looks like we're in for one hell of a game. You want to bowl first?" He walked over to the board controller and began to set everything up. He stopped as he reached the 'enter name' part, awaiting whether Sofia wanted to bowl first or not.

Sofia chuckled and shook her head, "They are especially bad when they aren't really your older brother....or even older than you. Aiden just has a complex or something. I don't know." Her smile was sweet and warm as she watch Craig interact with his sister and then move towards her. There was something rough and sweet about this boy, something under the inital layer of protective older brother and sillyness.
"I am glad you are a kick ass bowler." She laughed when he admitted to be average. The laugh that happened under your breath in amusement. "I don't think we need to be pros to beat those boys." Sofia gently watched the interchange between siblings and silently sighed in wistfulness. She wasn't sure if she and her sister would ever share that. "One hell of a game sounds good. Are we going to make stakes for the winners and losers?" Her sentence stopped as she thought, "No, you can go first. That is fine with me."

Craig quickly pushed onto the pad and entered his name. He typed in her name, a smile creeping across his face. He spun around and grinned boyishly at Sofia. She was so sweet and spunky. He wished he could just tell her that he liked her, but that would never happen. She was way to good for him, so he figured that being friends was better then nothing at all. He grabbed his beer and took a large drink. "I am so ready to kick some ass." He chuckled softly.
He glanced over at Crissy and they both nodded. He chuckled softly, "What do you want to put up, Sofia. Crissy's up for anything." He grinned and took another drink of his beer. "Oh, do you want another drink?" He asked her casually. He felt a bit dumb for not asking her earlier.

[[OoC: Randi, my love, I am soooo sorry I have been absent! I feel so bad for leaving Craig and Crissy abandoned...and all my other people. I will make it up to you, I promise!!!]]
"Hmmm." Sofia tapped her temple in thought, and old habit she had since childhood. "I am up for anything as well." Her eyes closed slightly as she thought, trying to think of something interesting and good as stakes. "I know. The losers have to pay for the winner's night out. Like if we win Crissy and her bar boys have to pay for us to have an awesome time on night this week. Yes?"
Sofia's smile stayed warm and bright as she moved to sit next to Craig on the small bench situated behind the score board input machine. She was happy to be able to share her "place," her bowling hide-away with someone. "I don't need a refill." Her eyes twinkled and smile went sneaky as she took Craig's glass and stole a sip from it. "You might though." Her last statement was spoken in a teasing tone, hoping that he wasn't going to freak out about her sharing his cup. It was how she and her friend's normally worked, so Sofia wasn't bothered by the thought at all.
