September 12th, 1:00pm[/u][/i]
Adrianna tugged her bag out to the softball field. Sure, it wasn't softball season, not even close, but she needed her practice. Softball was her passion, and part of how she got here, besides her mother and father's money. A scholarship on the sport, something her parents were quite proud of.
Finally, Adrianna made it to the field. She hung up her blue batbag onto the fenced in dugout. It was something that most softball players did, and it made it simpler to get the equipment from inside it. Sighing, she grabbed her mitt and ball, heading out to first base. First base was her favorite position, and she was pretty good at it.
Adrianna didn't know who the other members of the team were, but she hoped to meet them soon enough. Right now, preferably. The only thing she could do right now was throw the ball into the air, and hit some balls. But hey, it was better than nothing, at least.
Adrianna threw the ball into the air, just a little bit away, quickly running after it to catch it. Several times, she dived to get it. She didn't always get it, though. A sigh escaped. Gods, she wished there was someone else to throw with. So, she trudged back and grabbed her bat, replacing her mitt. She walked up to the plate, and faced the fence behind her. She threw the ball up, nearly straight, got set, and swung her bat. She repeated it this as well, hitting the fence, so she wouldn't have to run to grab the ball. A sigh escaped her mouth as she once more hit the ball into the fence.

Wondering the grounds was nothing new for Ian Roberts. His cigarette hanging loosly between his soft lips, he strutted his stuff around campus. Of course he happened to be ditching a class, but that too was nothing new. Ian was quite the bad ass and every knew that. His own professors were a bit intimidated by him.
He shoved his hands into his jean pockets, exhaling smoke ever so often. His light blue button up shirt fit him perfectly. Showing off his muscles nicely. As he walked, his blue sketchers squeeked softly on the browning grass.
As usual, he had no idea as to where he was headed, but had an idea as to what he wanted. A nice little lass to flirt with and maybe take back to his place. Of course, he hasn't been getting very lucky lately, which kinda threw off his groove. He had Sofia to thank for that one. Who knew there was a girl out there that could put up a force field against the all powerful, Ian Robert? Ah well, he would just have to get back into the groove of things, and that begins with just another girl.
He walked past the softball field, an eyebrow raised as he heard the crashing of ball against chain link fence. He walked over towards the bleachers, taking one last drag of his cigarette. He threw it on the ground and stepped on it with the toe of his shoe. He sat down on the bleachers, leaning back and looking ultimately quite gorgeous. He smirked sexily as he saw the cute girl batting to herself.
Ian would have gladly gone out and joined her, but he had no clue as to how to play baseball... or was it softball? Once again, these girls and their sports were going to throw him off.

Adrianna growled in anger. Gods, would nobody ever come out to the fields, would nobody ever come out to practice? Okay, sure, the softball season was months away. But that didn't mean the other girls just had to slack off.
Adrianna then trudged off to put away her stuff. It was getting pretty boring out here, by herself. As she walked back to the dugout, she noticed somebody in the stands. An eyebrow raised as she watched him from the corner of her eye.
She unclipped her bag from the chain link fence and stepped out from the dugout. Instead of leaving, she headed towards the guy. Her chocolate eyes watched him. By his posture, she assumed that he thought alot of himself. Sure, he had looks, and muscles to boot. But he really wasn't all that good looking. She had a feeling that his personality wasn't all that great either.
Walking up to him, her chocolate eyes looked into his. "What do you want?" She questioned, her voice soft, but with a hint of annoyance. He looked to be only a tad taller than herself, but he was stronger, obviously. That fact intimadated her slightly. She didn't want to get hurt, although, she could prove herself in a fight, should the need arise. "There is nobody here but me, and this isn't exactly the best place to be meeting someone. So, why are you here?"

Watching her, Ian imediately knew that this girl meant business. She was good at her game and planned on getting better. He liked that fact, it even turned him on a little. He grinned sexily at her as he watched her put her things away and walk towards him. Even better, she was making the effort to confront him rather than him starting the conversation. Another thing he was quite fond of.
He looked her up and down slyly, taking in everything about her. She had a pretty face. Lovely locks of hair to go right along with it. Quite the nice body as well. Something he would rather enjoy. He smirked, making his sexy facade much sexier. Of course, as soon as she began talking he was a bit takin back. Snotty much? Hmm.. all the better, he concluded.
Looking her up and down again, he replied, "Well, Sweets, I was walking around and heard you, hitting balls towards the fence. Decided to check it out. Is there a problem?" His voice was silky and sexy. He gave her his signature melt on the spot, cheeky grin.

Adrianna brushed back a tendril of her hair that fell in front of her face. Then, she looked back at him. She couldn't deny the fact that he was very hot. Not to mention he seemed to know that fact, too.
At his words, she started to cough. At his words, the smell of his breath found her. The smell was the smell of smoke. Not the fire kind, but the smoke of a cigarette. She attempted to wave the smell away. Looking back at him, she glared.
"I do not remember giving you, whoever you are, permission to call my anything, least of which, sweets. No, I don't really have a problem, but generally, I would like to know what a complete stranger is doing watching me practice. Also, don't you know that smoking is bad for you? Not to mention it makes you stink?" Gods, this guy was probably an idiot, by the way he was carrying on. Not to mention that she could see that he was trying to make her putty in his hands, something that was not something she did. She wasn't one of those prissy girls that just slept with the first decent looking guy she met. And he would have to learn that.

Ian was becoming quite fed up with this girl. Who did she think she was? He was the most popular guy at the University. He could truly make her life hell if he wanted to. He was actually quite good at doing that. Having had done it many times before.
He knew for sure that the cigarette didn't make him stink. His soft musky cologne mixed well with the menthal smoke. Most girls loved it. Infact every girl he's come across loved it. This girl had no idea whom she was talking to. She must be a freshmen, he concluded. He had quite the reputation, and if she didn't know that, she would quickly learn.
"The name is Ian Roberts. Which I'm sure you have heard before." He sat up and glared sharply into her eyes. He was quite agravated now and looked extreamly intimidating. Looking down upon the girl, he continued, "Cigarettes only make you stink when you don't know how to cover it up. I smell quite nice, thank you. And the next time you try to act all big and bad, think again, because it will get you nowhere in this university. I'll make sure of that." His voice was sharp and serious. He stood up, grabbing another cigarette and lighting it. He inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly. He debated blowing in her face, but knew that that would only make things worse. He assumed he got the point across.

Adrianna was getting increasingly annoyed by this guy. He obviously didn’t see a problem with anything about himself, although Adrianna could point out her problems with him. Could he get anymore conceited?
Adrianna could not stand the smell of smoke. It was a horrible smell that she could identify anywhere. It didn’t matter if it was overlapped by another scent, she could usually smell it on the person. Not to mention she had weak lungs and a sensitive nose that often sent her into coughing fits.
“Do you think I care what your name is?” She started to say, but trailed off, her voice growing softer. The glare in his eyes was beginning to scare her. “Just because you attempt to cover it up doesn’t make it disappear. You do not smell good, I can tell you that.” She told him softly, looking at the grass. His tone was annoyed, and the tone was quite intimidating.
I’m not even trying to be big and bad, or whatever. I’m just stating the truth.... she thought. She heard him move and looked up. He was lighting another cigarette. Adrianna quickly made to cover her sensitive nose. Cigarette smoke caused coughing fits, because of her weak lungs, and she had gone to the hospital before because somebody’s smoke was extremely strong. “Stop!” She cried, worried that it would cause another bad coughing fit. She had already started to cough in her hand.
((I had to put that in....it makes sense to her aversion to cigarettes, and it really does happen....))

Ian's eyebrows raised at her comment. He rested his cigarette holding hand at his side. He was going to do something that he rarely if ever did. He threw his brandnew cigarette on the ground and stepped on it, causing it to die. He licked his lips and lokoed at her. He never let a cigarette go to waste, but this girl looked like she would keel over if he smoked infront of her.. and that wasn't something he needed on his record.
Standing there, now empty handed and quite aggravated, he pulled out a peice of 5 gum and unwrapped it. He held out a piece to her, hoping to make her feel better or something. "Sorry about that. I didn't know you were that afraid of smoke." He chewed on his gum casually, making sure not to smack, because that was a pet peive of his. "Mind if I ask you your name?" He looked her over again, just to make sure she was going to be okay.

Adrianna looked up, grateful that he stamped out his cigarette. She removed her hand from other her nose and mouth. "It's not that I'm afraid of it, my body just can't handle it." She told him, somewhat ashamed. "My lungs are weak, and my nose is sensitive. I can handle anaerobic sports, like softball," she gestured at the bag that was slung across her back. "but I have to use an inhaler for aerobic sports, like basketball."
She took the piece of gum. "Thanks.."she murmured, unwrapping it. She loved gum, really. She truly didn't think the world would revolve without it. She chewed, careful not to smack it, for many people got annoyed by that. "I'm Adrianna...Adrianna Evans." She gave a shy smile. "I'm sorry for getting so mad at you earlier...."

Watching her carefully, Ian placed his hands in his front pockets. He gave her a sexy little smirk as she took the gum. "Well, you're lucky I refuse to smoke in my car, because if I did, you would have a reason to refuse to go to lunch with me." He pulled out his keys and twirled them around his pointer finger.
He loved being quick with his words. It caught people off gaurd and to top it off, with his dashing smile, it was hard for people to say no. He glanced around, noone was in site except for the two of them. He grinned happily, leaning in smoothly and talking softly, "It's a pleasure to meet you Adrianna Evans. What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl, yes?"

Adrianna looked up at him, catching his smirk. Adrianna bit her lip nervously. He was starting to get to her. Now that she didn’t really have as much of a problem with him, he seemed to be....more attractive than she had first thought. An odd feeling in her stomach jumped, but Adrianna squashed it. She knew better than to think such odd feelings as love, or whatnot. At his words, she looked up, her almond shaped eyes startled. “What?” She looked down at the black watch that adorned her small wrist. It was past one, something she didn’t know. She never really paid attention to time....a bad thing about her.
“Gods, I didn’t know it was past one..” she said with surprise. Before she could figure out a way to decline, her stomach interrupted with a growl, announcing its hunger. Adrianna’s chocolate eyes widened again, but this time in embarrassment. “It seems I’m hungry...” She said, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. Adrianna hastily backed up as he leaned in, squashing that odd feeling that arose in the pit of her stomach once again. “The pleasure is mine...I guess. It’s really not that beautiful. It’s simple, really. Besides, it’s French for dark, my mom says. Apparently for my hair.” She stated, her lips in a crooked smile.

His lips curving into a grin, Ian smirked. "Lunch it is then." He glanced at his blackberry, noting that the time really was past one. He'd just ditch his next class as well. It wasn't a biggy as usual. He licked his lips sexily as she blushed. He loved it when girls blushed, it meant he was doing well at his job.
He glanced at her hair, taking in the gorgeous color and the way the sun made it shine a light color. He smirked sexily and licked his lips. "It's a beautiful name. And if I'm saying that, take it to heart." He grinned boyishly. "Now let's go get some lunch before your stomach begins to scream, yes?" He got off the bleachers and began to walk towards the parking lot on the other side. His shiny black porsche 911 GT shone brightly in the autumn light. It definitely looked out of place, alone in the parking lot. He knew that nothing would happen to it. That was only because if it did, anyone and everyone would severly pay. He beeped it, the lights flashed dully showing that it was unlocked. He opened the passenger door for her, a soft musky smell coming from the interior. It happened to be his favorite cologne, without the smoke, luckily.

Adrianna sighed in defeat. She didn’t really want to get him angry, or sad. If she did, she’d feel really guilty. And she hated feeling guilty. She looked as he pulled out a blackberry phone. It was a nice phone, and she knew all about nice phone. She had an iPhone, thanks to her lovely, rich parents. Looking up at him, she noticed him lick his lips. Now, she remembered that he had done that a couple of times already.
Adrianna simply shrugged. “Whatever you say, Ian. But you can simply call me Dri. Most people do, anyways.” She couldn’t help but grin back at him. “I highly doubt that my stomach will start screaming.” She told him, a smirk of her own creeping upon her lips. She trotted after him as he walked towards the parking lot. She let out a low whistle as she saw the Porsche. “Nice ride,” she said, admiring the car. As they arrived at the car, she remembered the heavy bat bag that was slung across her bag. “Oops, I forgot about this...” she said, grinning sheepishly. “I hope you don’t mind...” she said, opening the back door to put her bag on the back seat. Closing the door carefully, she got into the seat. “Thanks..” she murmured, putting her seatbelt on. The smell of the car was intoxicating, but in a good way, thankfully. It didn’t smell like smoke, much to her relief.

Ian chuckled casually, "Why don't you go by Anna? It's a gorgeous name." He grinned sweetly, patting the top of his car. "Yeah, I got it for my eighteenth birthday. It's fun to drive, I like it." He glanced at the bag on her shoulder. How could she forget that large thing? It had to be easily a third of her weight. He chewed on his bottom lip. As long as the bag wasn't dirty, he didn't mind it being in his backseat.
He closed the door gently, making sure she wasn't in the way of it before hand. He walked around the front of the car, opening his own door and sitting behind the wheel. The car purred to life, one of Ian's favorite sounds. He clicked his seatbelt on and sped out of the parking lot. He was an excellent driver, which definitely came in handy. His stops and starts were exceedingly smooth, which he had to thank the car for most of the time. He turned to her casually and asked, "So where to? It's on me."

Adrianna scrunched her nose. "Anna? I don't really like that, actually. I don't mind people named that, but for me? No, don't think so." She laughed, thinking about being called Anna. How odd that would be. Looking up, she caught him chewing his lip when she put the bag in his back seat. "Don't worry, it's brand new and clean." She smiled, laughter in her eyes.
Adrianna watched as he walked smoothly over to the driver’s side. She noticed him relax at the sound of the car coming to life, and smiled. Some people did relax at odd sounds, but this one wasn’t that odd. Who wouldn’t be glad at the sound of their car starting up? Probably one of the best sounds to a car owner, for sure. She noticed that the car was smooth, and that he was a good driver, as well. At his question, she shrugged. “I don’t really care. Anyplace that has some good food.” She said, a small smile on her lips.
