"Well, I like to travel anyway and did alot of that when I was in australia."
Alec nodded as he listened to her story and continued to eat his food at that same time. For a second, he envied her. She had the chance to travel in her home town. He on the other hand did not have that luxury, let alone experience it. How could he when he was stuck down at the rehabilitation center for four years? Some life he got himself into. But then again, he didn’t really have any choice on the matter. It seemed like his parents had made it for him. But that didn’t mean he hated his mother for doing her part. He understood why she did it. It had been for his own good. His father was totally an entirely different story.
"But I had heard so much about America that I wanted to come see it for myself....that and it is pretty far away from Sydney.....”
The other teen smiled and nodded at her indicating that he was still following her story. Not that he had anything against her choosing America but with the other options she listed, he was sure that some if not all the places had a lot to offer as well. Not that he was an expert on the stuff or anything. But from what he had read and heard, some of those places had a quite awesome reputation. Licking his lips, he made a grab for his soda and took a sip.
"I mean what better way than to move far far away and start over?"
Alec had to briefly pause at what she had just said. He swallowed and placed his glass down and nodded. “Yeah I think I can totally relate to that one. But it can’t really be that bad back home can it?”
