Nathaniel already had his guitar and drums set up in the music room. Well, not set up, but they were there, in the storage area with his name. Music students had their own, large storage area for their instruments and equipment. Of course, he had one of the larger storage rooms, because he had a drum set. Nathaniel was lucky to be bestowed with the ability to play three instruments, the third being piano, and even a good singing voice. Some people weren't that lucky, but Nathaniel knew that their talents lied in another area, and they were lucky with what they had. Nathaniel was not a lyricist, and couldn't make up anything, well, besides music. He was decent at creating music to lyrics. But he didn't have another person's lyrics that didn't have music, so all he did was covers. He liked rock, mostly, but country music was his soul. He didn't like playing it, but he was a Southern guy, and therefore, liked country music. Nathaniel unlocked his door and stepped inside the large room. It had many different things inside, including many wires. As a singer, he also had a mic stored inside, for when he played on one of the stages. A sigh escaped his lips and he ran his large hand through his messy brown hair. He didn't really feel like playing the drums, so instead, he grabbed his guitar, bringing all the wires with him. Locking his storage room behind him, he went into one of the smaller studios, wanting some privacy. There were three stages, of varying sizes, and five studios for recording, and for those that just wanted to play alone, like he did. Well, maybe not alone, but not on the stage, where people would flock to the music room, for that's where most of the sounds from the large studio came from. Nathaniel admitted to liking the boy bands, like Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco. They had odd styles, and he liked that. Most guys like him, nerds that did odd things, and played video games mostly, didn't usually like that. His old friends, like Tyler Morosso, liked more of the heavy metal stuff. He didn't, however. Nathaniel set up his equipment in the studio, and grabbed a stool and the mic that stood there. He settled himself on the stool, and played a couple chords, making sure it was still tuned correctly. Sure, his storage room was always locked, but it was habit to check the chords. He grabbed the Fall Out Boy guitar tab book he had left here the last time, a mistake, really, and flipped open to one of his favorite songs. He settled the book on a nearby stand, and began to play, and sung along with it, his voice in harmony with Patrick Stump's. I run a goodbye now And lipstick on your arm When you passed out I couldn't bring myself to call Except to call it quits
Best friends Ex-friends to the end Better off as lovers And not other way around Racing through the city Windows down In the back of Yellow-checkered cars
You're wrong Are we all wrong You're wrong Are we all wrong
(This city says) Come hell or high water When I'm feeling hot and wet I can't commit to a thing Be it heart or hearts beating
Best friends Ex-friends to the end Better off as lovers And not other way around Racing through the city Windows down In the back of Yellow-checkered cars
You're wrong Are we all wrong You're wrong Are we all wrong
The kids still terraining They were half ingraved They knew it was over Just didn't know the date
And I cast a spell over The west To make you think Of me Say wait I think of you You sing the love song In my own way I believe that the rest is Below the waist
Best friends Ex-friends to the end Better off as lovers Racing through the city Windows down In the back of Yellow-checkered cars
You're wrong Are we all wrong You're wrong Are we all wrong
Best friends Ex-friends to the end Better off as lovers And not other way around Ex-friends to the end Better off as lovers [/right] Nathaniel finished it, sweat covering his face and forehead. That one was his absolute favorite, and he loved to sing it, as well. Nathaniel broke out into a broad grin, and looked up, surprised to see someone looking back at him...and it wasn't his reflection. Lila had been in her worst shape ever. She stayed up late last night, finishing a report for her zoology professor. She had drunk at least ten cups of coffee, and still her eyelids were falling like mad. On top of that, she'll be having a hundred-point quiz tomorrow, which she didn't want to fail, else she'd get kicked out of the school. And with three uncles, three aunts and fifteen cousins' expectations, there was a huge pressure on her right now.
Grabbing yet another cup of coffee, she headed to the music studio to hang out. It was her favorite place, because she had been in love with music for the past few years. She isn't able to play anything (except "Mary had a little lamb" on the piano) and therefore, opted to listen to those who could. Just yesterday, she was surprised that a freshman was able to impress her with his own composition.
She saw a man enter the room ahead of her. She hadn't seen him before. Well at least, not in a rememberable manner. Then again, with so many faces in the campus, it was expected that she wouldn't know him. And because of the mere fact that they were not even acquaintance, she chose to sit outside the room, waiting for his music to reach her ears. Putting down her cup of coffee, she opened the book that she brought. She was offended by the first page, because it had graphics of maltreated animals. Quickly, she skipped that part. Hopefully, that wouldn't show up on the quiz. Starting at the top most part, she started dissecting the book, concentrating hard.
His music started to weave in and out of her thoughts, and she found herself humming along. She was getting a wee bit distracted, which was odd for her. Maybe it was the caffeine. Or the sound of the guitar. Or the sound of his voice.
She found herself dropping the book and holding on to the coffee, just in case it wouldn't fall, or someone would trip on it. She carefully opened the big door, and allowed her ears to guide her. Walking a few cautioned steps on the floor of messy wires, she found herself looking at a smaller studio where a man was playing.
She blushed at the thought of being a nosy woman, but there was no turning back now. She was entranced by his music, particularly by his voice. Tilting her head to one side, she continued to look at him until he stopped...
... And look at her.
"Oh!" Lila said, partly surprised and embarrassed by his catching of her staring at him. "Oh!... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to... I'm-"
Running out of words, she relied on her hand gestures. But it wasn't at all helping. Goodness, she was looking like a fool right now.

Music was his life, his passion. Okay, sure, his major was in Zoology, but that was to sedate his father, who didn't want his son to be some weirdo on the streets with no money or job. His father often did things like that, actually. His father had given him the scar that ran from his brow to his cheek, when he was only in second grade, because of a C. His father wanted the best for his son, and used to pressure him to get good grades.
Nathaniel, his song done, looked up to say a rather lovely girl staring at him, as if entranced by the music. Suddenly, she snapped from her reverie, and started to panic. As she stuttered over her words, attempting to come up with an excuse.
He didn't know, but Nata suddenly just burst out laughing. It wasn't a chuckle, or a small laugh, but it was the long series of laughs, the ones that never seemed to end. He couldn't help it. This girl was rather cute, and the way she just blustered around, trying to figure out what to say was cute, and rather amusing.
He coughed, attempting to stop his laugh, but a grin covered his lips. "Ah, it's alright. I don't care. Really, I like when other people listen to my music." He told her through the mic, his voice coming out on the other side of the plexiglass in the studio. Okay, so the room was mainly used for recording, but he used it anyways. "Well, as long as you don't say that it sucked, or something." His country drawl was hinted at in his words.

It felt weird; observing a man through a glass. Let alone talk to him. That was partly the reason why she suddenly started to act freaked out after talking. Hoping at the back of her mind that he wouldn't make things any worst, she tried to act more normal. But seriously, what was normal for Lila?
A laugh. That was what she had been waiting. Something to save her from destitution. It wasn't the best reaction, but at least it didn't leave Lila hanging. Partly annoyed and mostly embarrased than ever, she turned about face, in an attempt to hide her now crimson face. She closed her eyes tightly and muttered a soft 'geez', allowing herself time to regain her composition. And to help, she took a sip of the beverage in her hands, which she had forgotten before.
Still, to be able to play music, and good one at that, impressed Lila. If he wasn't so good with music (and a wee bit cute at an angle), she would've walked out of the room the instant she realized the gravity of her situation. She didn't like to get laughed at. She'd rather stick pins on her eyeballs.
She heard him cough, and assumed that he would start taking. Trusting that she'd place aside the embarrasment and everything that came with that, she looked back at him again. With a slightly southern accent, he expressed his thought. Alright, fine. He was forgiven for laughing at her, by stating that he wouldn't have cared otherwise. Apathy was better than empathy with this given condition.
"No, it didn't. And yes, it was good... Uh..." She left the last sentence open for him to fill in his name. She didn't like talking to people she did not know how to address. Hopefully, he would be able to get the idea.

Nathaniel wasn't the one to normally laugh at people. Well, unless they got caught in some kind of prank of his, otherwise, he didn't laugh at others. But she was so adorable, waving her arms around, he just couldn't help it. He didn't know why he laughed, it just happened. "Ah, I'm sorry for laughing." He apoligized, grinning sheepishly. "It's just..that way you flailed your arms around and stumbled for words when you noticed me looking at you, it was slightly amusing. I hope I haven't offended ya."
The girl turned around, not before he saw the girl's face was rather red. Uncomfortable, he rubbed the back of his neck. Then, she turned around again, her face free from any blush. Then she spoke, trailing off at the end. "Oh, well, thanks." He grinned. He loved to hear that his music was good. It meant he was still as good as he used to be. "Ah, the name's Nathaniel Samuels, Nata for short."

"Forgiven." She promptly said, nodding. A smile was near to creeping up her face, but she decided to go against her habitual 'forgive and smile' routine. She was still, or at least, she still deemed her position, to be on shaky grounds. Don't get her wrong, he was friendly enough, but they got off on the wrong foot. She wasn't just about to trust him that easily.
After offering her his apologies, he spoke further to explain his behavior. Starting to get annoyed by the word 'amusing', she had the want to frown. However, he did say he was sorry, and she was in great need of an crankiness check. Letting go of her mild temper, she listened as he finished his sentence, in all ambiguity. She even liked how he said the last line, making sure that it was she whom he was assuring and not himself. Plus, the adorable grin did kinda help. She had a few moments to think of a quick reassurance. "Eh... well, we all have our bloopers, right? No offense taken."
"Oh, Nata.. That's a cool name" She let his name roll off her tongue experimentally. It was an unusual nickname, and she liked it. All of the Nathaniels that she knew came by the name of Nat. "Mine's Lila. Lila Montgomery. You can call me anything you want"
"May I come in?" She asked, pointing the doorknob. She guessed he had locked the door, and didn't attempt to open it, in fear of another embarrassing moment. Now that he caught her attention, there was no turning back to her book. It would be completely pointless since she was already distracted. Might as well listen to him sing some more to calm her nerves. Good thing she wasn't all hyperactive from the coffee.

Nathaniel grinned when she stated his was forgiven. "Ah, thank you very much." He told her playfully. He noticed the small smile that tugged on her lips, but she didn't smile. But Nata could understand. They had a rough start, really. However, he hoped that they could smooth that over, for she seemed nice enough, and she was really pretty.
To her next comment made him grin again. "Yeah....everyone does. I think I have more than anybody else, actually. I get laughed at alot about things I do." Her grinned, rubbing his hand on he back of his neck again. At her comment about his name, he shrugged. "It's alright. I just wanted to be different than all the other Nathaniels in the world. Nathan and Nat are so normal, so I wanted to be different."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lila." He told her, smiling. "But your name is so short, the only thing I could call you besides Lila would be Lil or something. Anything else would be as long or longer than Lila." He told her, smiling. "But it's a very pretty name, and it itself should be used instead of anything else." His words, as always, were true and honest.
Nathaniel heard her request and grinned. "Yeah, that's fine with me. The door is unlocked, so feel free." He told her. He could understand why she asked, and didn't even try. If it had been locked, she would have had another embarrasing moment, something that would not look good for her, or even him, for he would probably laugh again. He only hoped that he wouldn't mess up badly in front of her, although, it might make them even.

"Er... right" She said, weirdly eying Nata. She really did not know how to react, or if she'd say her 'welcome' in return. She had lived in the US for quite a number of years now, but she still couldn't quite grasp their colorful culture. Still, she was touched by the fact that he said thanks for her mercy. Weird, but touching.
"Oh really?" She asked, caught off-guard by his statement of getting laughed at than anybody else. Well, it was perfectly fine for him to laugh at her then. After all, it wouldn't be quite nice if it was only he everyone laughed at. She eyed him as he rubbed the back of his neck, something which she concluded was one of his mannerisms. She still haven't quite figured out his personality, or his whole as a person.
She also chose not to comment on his trying to formulate a nickname for her. It might be that he was talking to himself loudly. However, she was softened by the fact that he complemented her name, and the true manner in which it was said. No one ever did that before. Before, her name was even abused, where the term 'Li-Loser' was coined. Perhaps it was his way of telling her to stand on firm ground. Perhaps not, but even if it did not, it worked. The reluctance earlier ago was forgotten, and she smiled to him in the nicest way she could ever do. "Thanks Nata."
He gave the confirmation that she could go in, but before she did that, she politely excused herself for a second to grab her book. Happily, it was still sitting by the studio's main door. She returned and opened the knob, and briskly walked inside. It was a small studio, but she could still fit in. She had no idea why she entered the place, but she secretly hoped he would play again, or at least talk to her more. Honestly, she found him attractive, and this chance was too good for her to ignore.

Nata coughed, attempting to hide a small chuckle that escaped at her reply. She seemed weirded out by his response. Okay, so not many people actually said thank you for that sort of thing, but it was one of his father’s lessons on being a gentleman, and it stuck with him. Well, it often scored him points with the girls, anyway. Most seemed to like the nice guys that did stuff for them. But for him, it was a habit.
“Yup. Lotsa people find me kinda weird, really. I guess my personality sorta weirds ‘em out. I can be considered rather crazy, sometimes, I guess.” He laughed, his eyes twinkling goodheartedly. “But don’t let that scare ya, I don’t bite, I promise. I also won’t start foaming at the mouth or anything.” He smiled at her, laughter in his eyes.
A nickname was always something personal, but for some reason, other people usually came up with one person’s nickname. A nickname was something that should be formulated by the person wanted the nickname, not their peers. In this way, Nata differed. He picked his own nickname. Sure, he had those “loser” and “weirdo” nicknames that others gave him, but they never lasted long. They got bored when he didn’t respond to them. That was what made those stupid “nicknames” stick, people reacted to them. “You’re welcome. It ain’t anything special, really.”
Then the girl left, excusing herself to grab her book. Nathaniel sighed in relief. It wasn’t that the girl was annoying, that wasn’t it at all! But the situation was still slightly tense, and kind of akward, really. The girl returned, with her book in hand, and entered the small studio. For a studio, it was actually kind of small. It was set for one, maybe two, with all cords and equipment. Luckily, it was only one with the cords and equipment, and not that much equipment, so they weren’t squashed together or anything. He grinned. “Welcome to the smallest studio on the face of the world. Cozy, ain’t it?” He laughed, and then strummed a few chords. “So...ya liked my playing and singing?” He inquired, looking up at her. She wasn’t that tall, but he was sitting, and had to look up at her a bit.

Was he sick? or was coughing yet another one of his observed 'mannerisms'? She did not know whether to ask him if he was alright or not. But she decided to not. After all, he was 'one of a kind'. On the other hand, maybe he did expect a thank you in return for that. She wasn't about to give it, because that would've meant she had delayed reaction, and she did not want to give him another idea to laugh at.
She politely smiled as he explained the cause of his behavior. She envied him and the way that he was laughing, so comfortable and all. She couldn't do that for the life of her. She was still socially awkward, and mind, she had been improving for the past few years. She started to just go with his flow. "Well, crazy is good... I think. I am in dire need of someone crazy to crack me up. All this studying is making my head hurt"
She nodded as he returned her thanks with a welcome, not really trusting her mouth to say anything stupid, since sometimes she could just babble her life away like a freaking lost chicken. Instead, she gave her excuse to go get her book.
As she turned around, she relaxed a bit more and released a breath of relief, almost in synchronization with Nathan. Well, that could've gone worst. Thought she, as she reached her book. She was always stiff around guys that were not in the same league as her, meaning, she didn't really know how to act around the uh... the not-so-invisible-male population. Loosen up, she told herself, and moved her shoulders in obedience to the command. Closing her eyes and breathing out, she went in.
“Welcome to the smallest studio on the face of the world. Cozy, ain’t it?”
"Mhmm... Impressive little studio" She affirmed, laughing along as she looked around the small space. She had never been in a studio before and had small expectations for one. This one had cabled running on the floor and lesser equipment for more people-space... She heard his strum and snapped out from her mild scrutiny of the place, to listen to his music. She quickly looked at Nata as he asked her for her opinion. "Of course I did. It was absolutely marvelous." Silly little English words of praise. She still couldn't get that out of her vocabulary.
She smiled reassuringly at him after saying the complement and then broke eye contact to look for a good sitting place.

Nata grinned when Lila gave a sort of confused look when he coughed. He would tell her that he was covering up a laugh, but he felt that doing so would not be a good idea. She might become offended once again, and he did not wish to offend her in any way. She was a lovely girl, and had an interesting personality. Nata would like to get to know her better, for she truly was interesting.
At her response to Nata’s craziness, he grinned. “Yeah, crazy is pretty good. Except then, most people think that you should be at the funny farm or something.” It was true. Some of his friends, jokingly, of course, asked him if he wanted to go to the funny farm. Nata had only rolled his eyes at them, of course. “Ah, are you? I do believe I could fill that position in. Most of my friends look to me in their stressful times.”
Nata waited in silence during the quick time Lila was gone. He was generally a bit nervous around girls. He didn’t know their personality, what they liked. It was always a test when meeting new people, and girls gave the hardest ones. He didn’t know what they expected, what they wanted from him, or what they liked. What if they didn’t like music? A horrid though, but that usually was a thought that ran through his head upon meeting someone.
At her answer about the studio, he laughed. Not at her, of course, but simply the response. “It ain’t impressive in any manner, Lila.” He told her, grinning. Since it was only him, his stuff, and her, the room seemed larger than it was. Should another musician, not to mention all the recording stuff, be in here, there wouldn’t even be half the room.
He grinned sheepishly at her comment. “Well, thank you.” He replied, his eyes twinkling. When she started looking for something, he furrowed his eyebrows, confused. What in the world was she looking for? Then it hit him; she was looking for a seat. Instantly, he jumped up, offering her the seat. “Ah, here. Have my seat. I can stand and play, no worries.”

She turned her confusion to delight as soon as a smile crept up his face. Perhaps he just had a mild case of scratchy throat, or something else. Whatever that may be, his sweet smile gave her an assurance that it wasn't insulting. It somehow lessened her doubts.
Truthfully, she was rather quizzical with his ways because she wasn't so good with people relating. She knew she was gawky and awkward and a 'dweeb'-to put it into modern terms. She didn't know how to interpret body language, or at least, had a hard time distinguishing them. Her only defense for the problem was her smile and silence. So far, her being rather silent during confusing moments had saved her dignity.
"I wouldn't doubt their decisions" She said with a soft laugh as he explained his job of cheering people up. He was just so happy and carefree, she was sure no one would end up frowning in his company. She was glad to have stumbled upon his character, and wished that they still had frequent meetings.
"It ain't impressive in any manner, Lila"
"I..." Said she, reluctant to give in to her pride. "I must admit that I haven't actually been in a real studio to know what impressive is by your standards." Embarrasing? yes. But Lila figured she better start telling him the truth, so she wouldn't actually look more like a fool than she would if she didn't.
"You're very much welcome" She flashed him another one of her rare smiles. It was amazing how he could make her do that without feeling even a bit fake or something. She then proceeded to looking around for a chair, which he offered a few minutes after. She looked at him first, then at a chair. "You don't mind really?"
She sat down, not really waiting for his reply. Honestly it was rude, knowing that she had confirmed his offer. Then again, he did offer in the first place.
"So... Nata. What are you going to play? Do you write your own songs?" She quickly inquired, more curious than ever about his talent in music.

Nata saw her smile, and was glad to see that she didn’t ask about his “cough.” He did not mean the laugh to be insulting in any way, but at least he didn’t need to explain it in any way. She had trusted him that it wasn’t bad, or perhaps she had misunderstood the cough. It didn’t matter now, however.
He usually made friends pretty easily, but keeping them, and understanding them, was another matter. Oftentimes, his friends had a northern, or some other kind of, drawl that he sometimes had a hard time understanding. Sure, he could make people smile and laugh, but sometimes other people simply confused him. Not to mention he usually wasn’t all that good at understanding girls.
At her remark, Nathaniel grinned. It was good that someone like her, a nice, sweet girl, didn’t doubt that interesting quality about him. He loved to joke, to have fun. He didn’t like people being sad, unless such an event happened that it would be bad to be laughing. He loved making people happy, if they were down, but still could look on the bright side of things.
Nathaniel kept up his grin when she admitted her fault. Not many people that had come to the school and saw the studios had seen any before. They were amazed at even the smallest one. Nathaniel was not put in that group. He was born, and grew up in, Nashville, Tennessee, the home to country music. Having been interested in music at an early age, and family that worked in the music industry, he had seen the studios there, and had even seen some of the lesser country stars record there. “Ya ain’t the only one here that hasn’t seen a real studio, so no worries there.” He assured her, smiling.
He grinned again when she smiled, and gave her welcome. Nata found that Lila’s smile was absolutely lovely. Her smile was dazzling, as well. He wouldn’t be surprised if many a guy fell over her for that lovely smile of hers. Then she asked if he was sure for his seat, but then went ahead and took it. “Yeah, I’m sure.” He said, chuckling.
“Ah, whatever floats your boat. I can play many songs. I know alot of rock songs. If there’s anything in that,” he nodded at the Fall Out Boy tab booklet, “or in any of those,” he then nodded at the shelves that held other students’ sheet music and tabs. “I could probably play. If there’s anything you like, I could play it.” He told her. It was true. He could read tabs quite well, and could make only a few mistakes the first couple of tries. He had been playing, and reading, music since he was around eight years old.
“Ah, I don’t really write lyrics. I can make music to lyrics, but I’m not much of a writer, really. Well, not lyrics. I can write my reports for my classes pretty well, but not music.” He answered, a lopsided grin on his lips. He was pretty good at writing his reports for his Zoology classes, especially since he loved animals very much.

It was actually weird to do that. She was usually childish when it came to that, like she would interrogate him on his cough (worst; would offer him cough syrup). She was huge on trust. It was a big deal for her to do that to him. But that was not already the focus. She was glad for this moment. She wasn't really good with friends, much more with keeping them. She had quite grasped the idea of being likable as of the moment. And as proof, still considered count of monte cristo as her best friend. Perfectly, he seemed like someone who was good with people. Or at least with handling people. It was good to have encountered a bubbly person. Lila couldn't ask for more. Who doesn't love a person who could make you laugh anyway? he would be able to keep things more interesting.
She politely returned his smile. It was good that he understood. Growing up in watery side of England (and then after that, in a not so musical place), she wasn't really raised in music. In a way that would've made her jealous of him. But he was nice about it. See, he even made her comfortable by assuring her she wasn't the only one.
What a gentleman. She soon found herself battling against the desire to color. It was partially embarrasing that he had to affirm his offer, and that his grin had a little bit more of something with it. She couldn't figure it out. Something between surprised and dazed.
"I don't really mind any. As long as it's not the ones where you had to scream your voice out. You know, Metallic Rock." She was talking quite ordinarily right now. Even she was surprised. She used to be tense around people. Most especially ones like Nata. Yeah, the cute guys.
Her eyes lit up as an idea lit up her mind. "Oooh, I know! You could play me your favorite song"
She had a theory that music explained a person's personality or character, or at least their fears or favorites. It was, in her little sly manner, a way to get to know him more. She had already concluded that he was a polite, nice, young man... so far.
Reports for classes? She had half the thought that those in music class only had music to do. Meaning; read notes, play instruments, whatever is connected to music. Would that mean that he wasn't a student of music? "What is your course really? I thought it was music. Is it not?"
And that, was more proof that she wasn't really good with people.

Nata wondered briefly if she was still thinking of his cover-up, but shook that off. If she did, she didn't show it. Besides, she'd probably say something if she truly thought something of it, wouldn’t she? Most people would, really. He would, at least. As would most of his friends.
Nata, during his other two years, had noticed that many people hung out around him. He didn’t mind, except when he wanted to be alone. He supposed it was because he was generally always happy, and made people laugh a lot. At least, that’s what his friends had told him when he had told that to them. He didn’t really care what other people thought of him, but it kind of made him happy that people liked him. It would disturb him greatly if people disliked him.
Nathaniel knew that some people here, even those in music, hadn’t grown up around music as he did. Not everyone lived in a place, like Nashville, where music was everything. You didn’t like music, you were pretty much shunned from society. It was a fact Nata had learned, and put up with. He liked music, so he was never shunned or ignored.
“ Hard Metal? I hate that crap. Well, the music is fine, but the part where your ears hurt and you can’t tell there are lyrics? Complete crap. To me, that ain’t music.” Was his disgusted reply. He didn’t like screamers. The music, the beat, was fine. But screaming was stupid and NOT good. Not in his book, anyways. “ My favorite? I dunno what that is, actually. I like all kinds of different types of music, really.” He grinned. It was true. He liked rock alternative, classic rock, country, some of the so called, “ emo”, music. He also liked Christian rock. Of course, people thought him strange with his different preferences in his musical tastes. He actually preferred playing rock alternative songs, like Fall Out Boy’s or Panic at the Disco’s songs. Especially Panic’s new stuff. That was always fun, although, he didn’t quite have access to the tabs for Panic’s new songs. But his favorite song? Out of all the songs he knew and loved? That would be a hard choice.
Luckily, her next question brought them off that subject. “No, actually. It would be, but I don’t want my father getting all annoyed at me bout it. He likes music too, but he thinks that I shouldn’t go into something as untrustworthy as that. As in, he wants me to have a definite thing ahead of me. My major is Zoology, actually. I have a double minor in Music and Astronomy, though. Music because I love it. Astronomy because, well, I find it very interesting. But Zoology is kinda tiring sometimes, though. Music is fun, if not boring when the professor lectures us about something that I already know.” He shrugged, with a lopsided grin on his face, his eyes sparkling, slightly amused.
